Item Conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos y educación sexual en estudiantes de 4º y 5º de secundaria, I.E “Decisión Campesina”, Barranca(Universidad Nacional de Barranca., 2023) Villanueva Lazaro, Sulamita; Romero Acevedo, Juan HugoLos adolescentes son un grupo de riesgo en la sociedad, la falta de conocimiento sobre métodos anticonceptivos y educación sexual los coloca en situaciones vulnerables como el embarazo no deseado, la deserción escolar, entre otros. Por lo tanto, es una razón para preocuparse y ante este problema, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos y educación sexual en los estudiantes de 4° y 5° de secundaria, I.E Decisión Campesina, Barranca. Metodología: Fue un estudio básico de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población fue constituida por 143 estudiantes de 4° y 5° de secundaria. La técnica que se utilizó fue la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario que consta de 35 preguntas, la cual fue previamente validado por juicio de expertos la cual nos dio una excelente validez de 0.90, mientras la confiabilidad se realizó a través de una prueba piloto en la I.E Simón Bolívar de Pativilca la cual nos dio una confiabilidad aceptable de 0.70. Entre los resultados se identificó que el 68.5% de estudiantes conocen sobre métodos anticonceptivos y el 46.9% conocen sobre educación sexual, por otro lado, se determinó que los investigados que no conocen sobre métodos anticonceptivos el 31.1% tiene conocimiento sobre educación sexual. En cuanto a los estudiantes que conocen sobre métodos anticonceptivos el 54.1% también conoce sobre educación sexual. Por ende, se concluye que existe relación significativa entre las variables conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos y educación sexual en los estudiantes de 4° y 5° año de secundaria de la institución educativa Decisión Campesina, obteniendo el valor (p= 0.012) que es menor a p< 0.05.Item Percepción y prácticas sobre el uso del preservativo en adolescentes de la institución educativa Jesús Obrero – Végueta 2023(Universidad Nacional de Barranca, 2023) Agurto Correa, Fiorela Marily; Apolinario Tahua Ana VioletaEl uso del preservativo es importante en el inicio de las relaciones sexuales de los adolescentes, para evitar que afecten la salud y el bienestar en esta etapa de vida, por ende, disminuir las infecciones de transmisión sexual y el embarazo no deseado, por lo mencionado anteriormente se buscó describir la percepción y prácticas sobre el uso del preservativo en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa Jesús Obrero – Végueta 2023. El estudio realizado fue no experimental, descriptivo y transversal. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 200 adolescentes de 4to y 5to año de secundaria, utilizando para la recolección de datos una encuesta conformada de 40 preguntas, previamente validada por 7 jueces expertos. Así pues, se obtuvo como resultado que el 34% de los adolescentes tienen una percepción “inadecuada” y el 66% de adolescentes tienen una percepción “adecuada”, además, de los adolescentes que tienen una percepción adecuada sobre el uso del preservativo, se logró evidenciar que el 43% realizan prácticas “adecuadas” y un 23% realizan prácticas “inadecuadas”. Por otro lado, observamos que del 34% que tienen una percepción inadecuada, un 23.5% realizan prácticas adecuadas y un 10.5% realizan prácticas inadecuadas. Otro punto importante es que el 91% mencionaron que los preservativos son efectivos en la prevención del embarazo y el 55.5% son efectivos en la prevención de las infecciones de transmisión sexual/VIH. En conclusión, los adolescentes tienen una adecuada percepción y práctica del uso del preservativo, pero aún falta reforzar puntos como, el acceso a los establecimientos de salud para la orientación y consejería, así mismo es necesario enfatizar en el uso correcto del preservativo.
